SIDE LUNGE<\/h3>\n<p>Target your glutes, hamstrings, and other muscles in your lower body needed for skiing. The side-to-side movements replicate those used on the slopes, so you can avoid pulling muscles on or off piste.<\/p>\n<h3>2. DEADLIFT<\/h3>\n<p>This ski exercise works virtually every muscle in the body, but focuses on your back muscles and combats your core strength for the perfect preventative move.<\/p>\n<h3>3. SKATER SQUAT<\/h3>\n<p>When you\u2019re skiing, you\u2019re constantly rotating and pivoting, sometimes using just one leg &#8211; so nail your single-leg strength and go easier on your knees with skaters.<\/p>\n<h3>4. SKATER SIDE JUMPS<\/h3>\n<p>The muscles on the front of your thigh &#8211; your quadriceps &#8211; are crucial for allowing movement of the knees during ski season. Shifting your weight allows them to work harder and strengthen-up ready for the snow.<\/p>\n<h3>5. JUMP SQUAT<\/h3>\n<p>Strong and stable squats are paramount to developing the quad, glute, knee and hamstring power needed for skiing. This exercise makes them explosive, with a jump in between each move.<\/p>\n<h3>6. ARM PLANK SHOULDER TAPS<\/h3>\n<p>Challenge your core to this plank variation. As well as working the lower body, you\u2019ll also be conditioning your arms, wrists and shoulders, improving your ski posture and flexibility to maneuver those poles.<\/p>\n<h3>7. WALKING ARMS PLANK<\/h3>\n<p>Add some resistance to your plank and engage all major core muscle groups by walking your arms forward and then back again.<\/p>\n<h3>8.
