In fact, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/health\/mind\/new-year-resolutions-survey-2024\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to a survey by Forbes Health\/One Poll<\/a>, a staggering 66.5% of individuals will commit to this ritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As if that weren\u2019t already a clich\u00e9, <strong>two of the most popular resolutions remain the same each year: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/chart\/26577\/us-new-years-resolutions-gcs\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exercising more and losing weight<\/a>. <\/strong>But that&#8217;s easier said than done; <strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/dandiamond\/2013\/01\/01\/just-8-of-people-achieve-their-new-years-resolutions-heres-how-they-did-it\/#48664c77596b\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">only 8% of people actually achieve these goals<\/a><\/strong>. In fact, the second Friday of January is now known as &#8220;Quitters Day,&#8221; marking the date when most people abandon their New Year\u2019s promises. <strong>With so many dropping off this early, it may be time for a new approach.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Let&#8217;s shift the focus to personalised goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s becoming clear that <strong>people are realizing setting arbitrary resolutions simply because it&#8217;s the start of a new year \u2014 or any other milestone \u2014 doesn&#8217;t necessarily lead to meaningful, lasting change. <\/strong>Instead, they&#8217;re shifting towards a more personalised approach, setting goals that truly matter to them.
