30-MIN FULL-BODY HIIT SESSION

ALL LEVELS / home workout / full-body HIIT session / 30 minutes

Equipment: bodyweight

Time to continue our workout sessions from home, part of our IGTV home workout series. Today, we invited our personal trainer Judit Stroj, from our club in Berggasse, Vienna, to lead the way during an intense 30-minute full-body HIIT session.

As usual, this is a straightforward and bodyweight-only session. It’s divided into blocks. First, a set of 30-seconds with 3 exercises. Then, a set of 4 exercises to perform for 40 seconds. Later, another set of 4 moves.

30-MIN FULL-BODY HIIT SESSION

1ST SET

  • 30 sec each exercise
  • No breaks between exercises and rounds
  • 3 rounds
  1. Jumping jacks 
  2. Mountain climbers 
  3. Lunge with rotation 

2ND SET

  • 40 sec each exercise
  • 15 sec break between exercises
  • 2 rounds
  • 1 min break between rounds
  1. Reverse Lunge to high knee – right leg 
  2. Side jump with high jump
  3. Reverse Lunge to high knee – left leg 
  4. Squat jump with 3 pulses

3RD SET

  • 40 sec each exercise (2nd round – 20 sec each exercise)
  • 15 sec break between exercises
  • 2 rounds
  • 1 min break between rounds
  1. Side plank with stepover- right side 
  2. Shoulder taps 
  3. Side plank with stepover – left side 
  4. Jumping jack + mountain climbers
