Making it Personal with our Top Trainers – Meet Bardo Tschapke

17th January 2018

We are making it Personal with our top trainers. Meet Bardo Tschapke, from EVO Le Flair in Düsseldorf, and uncover a special EVO workout designed for a lean body.

What do you like best about personal training and what lead you towards sports?

I always liked to work on my body and now I can help others to work on their bodies.

Now I do what I love. Before I was predominantly working in the office and the whole day I was planning how and when to integrate fitness in my everyday life.

I like to support people. Coaching people to a healthier life is a big motivation.

What is your favorite EVO area and equipment? Why?

I like the space you have on the Playground. Even though EVO Le Flair is only on one floor, with not that much room, it is still clearly arranged with a lot of space to move. Here you can do every movement pattern: Push, Pull, Bend, Hinge, Lunge.

Besides the weights, I start to enjoy more and more the Kinesis cable machines. They allow controlled, propioceptive impulses which differ from other training stimulus.

What is your suggested workout for your personal goals?

My goal is to acquire more body control. I want that every part of my body works together, connected. Therefore I implement very basic gymnastics in my training routine. Beyond that I train strength and endurance; I want to increase my overall performance. During my workouts I try to keep the pauses as little as possible. Additionally I like to have a strong physique: lean body and in good shape.
