Making it Personal with our Top Trainers – Meet Jakub Jandura

13th December 2017

We are making it personal with our top trainers. Meet Jakub Jandura, from EVO Vienna Berggasse, and uncover a special EVO workout designed for strength and endurance training.

What do you like best about personal training and what lead you towards sports?

I’m doing personal training, to show people the advantages of an active lifestyle. I work with my clients on their movements, especially the basics like squats and lunges. We were born to move, and so movement should be taken for granted like the need for food.

I myself do sports to feel fit and good. I’ve grown up with different kind of physical activities.  Setting myself goals and reaching them is rewarded by my own satisfaction – there is no better MOTIVATION!

What is your favorite EVO area? Why?

It’s difficult to say, which area is my favorite one, but if I had to choose between all of them, I think I’d go for the Playground. It has free weights and bars and allows you to challenge yourself and improve your natural movements!

What are your next goals and what is your best workout to achieve them?

My next goals are connected strength and endurance training. Why? Because I love combining natural movements, the complex and the easier ones, but it’s only possible if your endurance is good enough. Also, to not get bored, I try to bring in a lot of variety in my exercises by choosing different equipment!

“The moment we leave our comfort zone is the moment we start to live, but remember, don’t wait for the perfect time, because there is no perfect time to start – #startingnotwaiting!”
